After completing a Large Animal Medicine and Surgery internship at Texas A&M University, she fell in love with Texas and made Bryan her permanent home. She purchased Lovan Care Veterinary Hospital in 2005 and has practiced compassionate small animal medicine ever since. Dr. Bumgardner has a strong passion for rescue animals and shelter medicine, and served on the Board of Directors for the Aggieland Humane Society for many years. The clinic offers military discounts and is open to all. Services include: Dog and Cat Care (puppy/kitten wellness plans, adult and senior preventive care), Vaccinations (DHPP, Rabies, Leptospirosis, Bordetella, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia), Parasite Prevention and Screening, Heartworm Testing, In-House Bloodwork and CBC, Senior Pet Care and Blood Panels, Dental Care and Cleaning (under general anesthesia), Dental Prophylaxis, Surgery (with complimentary pre-surgical consultation, customized surgical plans), Spay and Neuter, Laser Therapy, Microchipping, and Cat Boarding. Drop-off appointments available Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM. Clinic closed for lunch 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM daily. Doctor's hours by appointment only.
