Town & Country Veterinary Group is the largest small animal independent veterinary practice in North East Scotland, and its Rubislaw Park Road surgery is where the whole group began in 1987. Originally this branch carried out all its own surgery, X-rays and other procedures on site, but the practice eventually outgrew the available space, so Rubislaw now concentrates on consulting, with appointments run three times daily and by booking only. The wider group, led by veterinary surgeon Mrs Sarah-Anne Chesterman-Barnett BVM&S MRCVS, also operates branches in Banchory, Bieldside, Kingswells, Millburn and Westhill, treating birds, cats, dogs, exotic pets, wild animals and small mammals, with services spanning regular check-ups, vaccinations and emergency care.
