Dr. Terrazas holds an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology from Sul Ross State University, a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from New Mexico State University, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University (2007). He also completed an equine surgical internship with Equine Sports Medicine & Surgery following graduation. He has extensive experience in small animal medicine and surgery. Associate veterinarian Dr. Kelly Ellis, DVM, is also an El Paso native and Eastwood High School graduate. She earned a BS in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University (2011), a Master of Agriculture with an emphasis in Ovine Reproduction from New Mexico State University (2015), and her DVM from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine (2020). Dr. Ellis's interests include large and small animal care, preventative and internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. All exams and vaccines are offered on a walk-in basis; surgeries require a prior appointment. Last exams are signed in one hour before closing, based on caseload. The clinic accepts CareCredit and has an online pharmacy via Covetrus. The clinic also offers a PetDesk app for clients. Services include: dog and cat spay and neuter (brachycephalic breeds require mandatory catheter), pet exams, microchipping, heartworm testing, FIV/FeLV testing, parvo testing, nail trim, anal gland expression, core vaccines (Rabies 1-yr and 3-yr, Distemper/Parvo, Distemper/Parvo with Lepto, Bordetella, Canine Influenza, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia), El Paso City Rabies Tag/Certificate, dewormer, dental cleanings, orthopedic and other surgeries, and referrals for echocardiogram and ultrasound.
